Afro Geek

The Afro Geek program stems out of a publications and conferneces held at the University of California at Santa Barbara in the Black Studies Department. The Afro Geek program comes to the We Can Foundation based on Kenneth Wyrick being one of the founding members.

Culture

We Can Foundation prides itself in being Afro Centric on a global perspective. Rev Eziokwu is a scholar and avid promotor of African and African American Culture. He performs libations and is an instructure that infuses culture into the learning process with students.

Urban Farm

The Urban Farm program is manifested in a block long community garden on 60th St between Figuroa and Hoover. This project was spear headed and designed by Dr. Michel McLaughlin. Permaculture is at the heart of the design and function of consumable and native plants that serve to sustain and restore the vibrant and livable nature of our South Los Angeles Community.
